Carpenetti <br />Carpenetti, Carpenetti 6 Carpenetti <br />1255 Post, Suite 1025 <br />San Francisco CA 94109 <br />Dear Judge Carpenetti: <br />As a follo,,,•-up to our conversation of this v,eek, I enclose four <br />memoranda relating to funds apparently received by 'fr. Boitano sub- <br />sequent to transfer of title from Iloitano to the Redevelopment Agency. <br />The most pertinent of these memoranda qould appear to be that of <br />June 3, 1977, from Mr. Ru2,g indicaten^ a total amount received from <br />Mr. Boitano subsequent to the date of close of escrow of $2,944.56. <br />An additional question has just arisen throu.1i a call from [dells <br />Fargo Bank in San Francisco. Our preliminary report from Title In- <br />surance and Trust Companv indicated a deed of trust with First State <br />Bank of San Leandro as the beneficiary for w1lich a disclaimer of <br />interest was subsequently filed by First State Bank. I am now informed <br />that this deed of trust was assigned to Wells Fargo Bank and they are <br />pursuing the matter of date of assignment and any presently existing <br />claims which they might have. Thus, this is a matter which may well <br />haunt us in the future. <br />The third matter involved is the cancellation of taxes. I have <br />contacted the Countv Tax Assessor's office and submitted to them the <br />recording data which should Accomplish the cancellation of taxes and do <br />away with any submission of tax bills to 'fr.
