Rugg - Community Development Director <br />Subj: BROOKS LAND EXCHANGE <br />Attached are copies of escrow instructions prepared for the Agency by Title <br />Insurance and Trust, including a copy of Brooks' escrow instructions for <br />review as required by LEA, Parcel Map waiver information, grant deeds and <br />preliminary title report. <br />Anna Humphers of Title Insurance & Trust (Hayward office [783-9300]) related <br />that if a "certificate of acceptance" (City agrees to accept parcels from <br />Agency) is neces -ta-c"moo-9rant-_cLe_e_d- --- <br />Note items #3 and 4 on page 2 of preliminary title report. Glenn told Dan <br />he would check to determine if taxes had been canceled and properly prorated <br />and paid. (Property was acquired 10/8/76.) <br />Also -attached is a proposal from Title Insurance and Trust to involve us in <br />a thing called Planned Project Pricing. Essentially a quantity discount, the <br />principle is great. However, the entry fee is much larger than the savings <br />on this small transaction, so we will wait until the "big" project proceeds. <br />Please review all material and Brooks' escrow instructions and assist in pro- <br />cessing all the necessary papers so this matter can be concluded as soon as <br />possible. <br />zi <br />WRR/DS:plt <br />Attachments <br />
