MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Bill Rugg DATE: 10/16/85 <br />FROM: Elizabeth H. Silver, City Attorney's Office <br />RE: 1242 Wayne Avenue (San Leandro v. Bettencourt) <br />Attached is a copy of the agreement between the City and Mrs. <br />Bettencourt granting her the right to repurchase her home after it is <br />moved. <br />Please review the agreement carefully to insure that all provisions of <br />the agreement are met when the house is moved. In particular, note <br />the provisions of paragraphs 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7. Mrs. Bettencourt's <br />attorney would like a copy of the bid specifications for the garage <br />when you go out to bid to make the modifications to the house. <br />Please send the specifications to me and I will forward them to her <br />attorney. <br />When the house has been moved and the modifications are made, we will <br />draft escrow instructions, etc., per paragraph 8 of the agreement. <br />Please keep me posted on the progress on relocating and modifying the <br />house. <br />Elizabeth H.
