2.28.190 <br />2.28.190 Consistency with the general <br />plans and development <br />code. <br />All development within the project area <br />shall be consistent with the general plans and <br />development codes of the city and county, as <br />amended from time to time. (Ord. 93-012 § <br />520, 1993) <br />2.28.200 Design for development. <br />Within the limits, restrictions, and controls <br />established in the plan, the agency may <br />establish traffic circulation, traffic access, and <br />other development controls necessary for <br />proper development of both private and <br />public. areas within the project area. <br />New improvements in this area shall be <br />reviewed in accordance with all of the city's <br />and county's development codes, building, <br />planning and environmental ordinances, rules, <br />regulations and requirements. The agency's <br />review and approval of development within <br />the project area shall be undertaken in <br />accordance with guidelines and procedures <br />adopted from time to time by the agency but <br />will basically rely upon the city's and <br />county's design and development process <br />except for projects receiving agency financial <br />assistance or agreements. (Ord. 93-012 § 521, <br />1993) <br />2.28.210 Building permits. <br />The county and city shall continue to issue <br />permits for the construction of new buildings <br />and for construction on existing building in <br />the project area from the date of adoption of <br />this plan. Where a proposed project is in the <br />redevelopment area, the agency staff shall <br />participate in the county or city normal permit <br />process. In the case of property which is the <br />subject of a disposition and development or <br />participation agreement with the agency, and <br />any other property in the discretion of the <br />agency, agency shall review any application <br />for a permit prior to acting on any agreement. <br />Any such project approved by the agency <br />must be in conformance with the provisions of <br />this plan and any applicable disposition and <br />development agreement or owner partici- <br />pation agreement.
