IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2001- 017 (1007 ) <br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />AND RESERVING PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS ON FACTOR AVENUE, <br />WEST END CUL-DE-SAC AT 1799 FACTOR AVENUE <br />Recitals <br />The City Council of the City of San Leandro, on July 16, 2001, passed its <br />Resolution of Intention No. 2001-118 to vacate a portion of Factor Avenue hereinafter <br />described. <br />A public hearing was set for September 4, 2001, at which time any person <br />objecting to such vacation was given the opportunity to appear and show cause why such <br />vacation should not be ordered and notice of such meeting was duly published and <br />posted. <br />Such hearing was held by the City Council on September 4, 2001, and the City <br />Council at the time of such hearing, determined that the said portion of Factor Avenue is <br />unnecessary for present and prospective public use. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN <br />as follows: <br />Section 1. That the portion of Factor Avenue located within the City of San <br />Leandro, Alameda County, California, is unnecessary for the present or prospective <br />public use and said portion of Factor Avenue is hereby vacated and abandoned, said <br />portion of Factor Avenue is more particularly described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and <br />made part hereof. <br />
