Dennehey ���� i t G P�'� <br />City Clerk <br />City of San Leandro "• <br />Civic Center Complex <br />835 East 14th Street <br />San Leandro, CA 94577 <br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />ORDINANCE NO. 88 - 06 (1007) <br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING PORTIONS OF PUBLIC STREETS <br />(WEST JOAQUIN AVENUE, ALVARADO STREET AND WEST JUANA AVENUE, <br />ALL LOCATED BETWEEN WEST ESTUDILLO AVENUE AND THORNTON STREET <br />NEAR ALVARADO STREET) <br />Red to l s <br />The City Council of the City of San Leandro on January 19, 1988, <br />passed its Resolution of Intention No. 88-5 to vacate portions of West Joaquin <br />Avenue, Alvarado Street and West Juana Avenue, (public streets in the City of <br />San Leandro) as hereinafter described. <br />A public hearing was set for February 16, 1988, at which time any <br />person objecting to such vacation was given the opportunity to appear and show <br />cause why such vacation should not be ordered, and notice of such meeting was <br />duly published and posted. <br />Such hearing was held by the City Council on February 16, 1988, and <br />the City Council at the time of such hearing determined that said portions of <br />West Joaquin Avenue, Alvarado Street and West Juana Avenue were unnecessary <br />for present or prospective public use. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does <br />ORDAIN as follows: <br />Section 1. That portions of West Joaquin Avenue, Alvarado Street <br />and West Juana Avenue located within the City of San Leandro, Alameda County, <br />California, are unnecessary for present or prospective public use and said <br />portions of West Joaquin Avenue, Alvarado Street and West Juana Avenue are <br />hereby vacated and abandoned, reserving and excepting therefrom easements and <br />right-of-way to construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove, renew and <br />enlarge sanitary sewers, storm drains and public utility services now existing <br />in said area, including all necessary and convenient appurtenant structures <br />
