IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2022- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO <br />AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT <br />AGREEMENT NO. F029 REV.1 TO ADMINISTERING AGENCY-STATE <br />AGREEMENT FOR FEDERAL-AID PROJECT NO. 04-5041F15 TO PROVIDE <br />$322,550.00 IN GRANT FUNDS AND OBLIGATE THE CITY TO PROVIDE $400,216.00 <br />IN MATCHING FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION PHASE OF THE WICKS <br />BOULEVARD AND MANOR BOULEVARD INTERSECTION SIGNAL UPGRADE <br />PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an Administering Agency-State Agreement for Federal-aid Projects No. 04- <br />5041F15 was entered into between the City of San Leandro and the State of California on June <br />19, 2017; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City was awarded a $359,900 Federal-aid grant from the Highway <br />Safety Improvement Program, but must first execute Program Supplement Agreement No. F029 <br />Rev. 1 to receive the funds for the project construction phase; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City must provide matching funds in the amount of $400,216.00, and <br />guarantee the completion of the project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Program Supplement Agreement No. F029 Rev. 1, which amends <br />Administering Agency-State Agreement for Federal-Aid Project No. 04-5041F-15, is presented <br />to this City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. That said Program Supplement No. N029 Rev. 1 to Administering Agency-State <br />Agreement for Federal-Aid Projects No. 04-5041F15 substantially in the form presented is hereby <br />approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and <br /> <br />2. That the City Manager is authorized to make non-substantial revisions to said <br />agreement, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney; and <br /> <br />3.
