IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO.2022-167 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT AGREEMENT NO. F029 REV.l TO ADMINISTERING AGENCY -STATE AGREEMENT FOR FEDERAL -AID PROJECT NO.04-5041F15 TO PROVIDE $322,550.00 IN GRANT FUNDS AND OBLIGATE THE CITY TO PROVIDE $400,216.00 IN MATCHING FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION PHASE OF THE WICKS BOULEVARD AND MANOR BOULEVARD INTERSECTION SIGNAL UPGRADE PROJECT WHEREAS, an Administering Agency -State Agreement for Federal -aid Projects No. 04- 5041 F 15 was entered into between the City of San Leandro and the State of California on June 19, 2017; and WHEREAS, the City was awarded a $359,900 Federal -aid grant from the Highway Safety Improvement Program, but must first execute Program Supplement Agreement No. F029 Rev. 1 to receive the funds for the project construction phase; and WHEREAS, the City must provide matching funds in the amount of $400,216.00, and guarantee the completion of the project; and WHEREAS, Program Supplement Agreement No. F029 Rev. 1, which amends Administering Agency -State Agreement for Federal -Aid Project No. 04-5041F-15, is presented to this City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof, and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: 1. That said Program Supplement No. N029 Rev. 1 to Administering Agency -State Agreement for Federal -Aid Projects No. 04-5041F15 substantially in the form presented is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized; and 2. That the City Manager is authorized to make non -substantial revisions to said agreement, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney; and 3. That an original executed agreement shall be attached to and made a part of this resolution.
