"Amended Loan"). The Trustor has issued to the Beneficiary an amended and restated <br />secured promissory note dated as of the date hereof (the "Amended Promissory <br />Note") to evidence the Trustor's obligation to repay the Amended Loan. Capitalized <br />terms used herein without definition shall have the meaning ascribed to such terms in <br />the Agreement. <br />D. As a condition precedent to the making of the Amended Loan, the <br />Beneficiary has required that the Trustor enter into this First Amendment to amend the <br />Original Deed of Trust to change the Beneficiary's security interest in the Property, to <br />reflect the terms of the Amended Agreement and Amended Loan. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the Parties agree to amend the Original Deed of Trust as <br />follows: <br />1. All references in the Original Deed of Trust to "payment of the sum of <br />$23,263.19" are hereby amended to read "payment of the sum of $35,416.36" which <br />reflects the amount outstanding under the Amended Loan. <br />2. All references in the Original Deed of Trust to "promissory note" are <br />hereby amended to read "Amended Promissory Note" <br />3.
