IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO 1036 RESOLUTION NO. 79 - 218 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE EASEMENT (Lorenzo Avenue) The City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That the City Council of the City of San Leandro hereby elects to proceed herein under the provisions of Chapter a.l of Title V of the San Leandro Municipal Code of 1957. It is the intention of the City Council to vacate a portion of ease- ment within Lorenzo Avenue. Said portion of easement so proposed to be vacated is described as follows: Real property in the City of San Leandro, County of Alameda, State of -alifornia, being a portion of the parcel of land conveyed by John L. Shiman to Herman Nielsen, by deed recorded August 6, 1878 in Book 165 of Deeds, page 367, Alameda County Records, being County Road 725 Known as Lorenzo Avenue 25 feet wide and being further described as follows: Beginning at the point of intersection of the eastern line of said parcel, said eastern line being the eastern line of Lorenzo Avenue,with the western line of the parcel of land described in the Grant of Ease- nent to Alameda County dated Parch 24, 1953) in BOOK 7033, page 487, Series No. AH 45000, Alameda County Records, said western line being -che ,restern line of County Road No. 8045, Known as Washington Avenue; thence southerly along said eastern line to the northern line of the parcel of land described in the Grant of Easement to Alameda County Flood Control and ;dater Conservation District recorded June 1, 1954 in BOOK 7334, page 291, Series No. AJ 45687, Alameda County Records; thence along said northern line southwesterly and westerly to the western line of said parcel conveyed by John L. Shiman to Herman Nielsen; thence along said western line northerly to the most southern point of the 0.002 acre parcel of land described in the Deed from Bernard T. Gerton and wife to County of Alameda, recorded March 19, 1953 in Book 6978, cage 393, Series No. .AH 24333, Alameda County Records, said point being also the point of cusp of a non -tangent curve, concave to the east, laving a radius of 2,042 feet; thence southerly along said curve 151.34 feet more or less to the point of beginning. The above described parcel of land contains 8,095 square feet, more or less.
