Service <br />•Unit to serve: <br />Non-violent persons experiencing a mental health problem <br />Unhoused individuals <br />Individuals experiencing low-level acuity medical issues <br />•Unit can respond in place of or simultaneously with police <br />CATT currently can only be requested by an on-scene police officer <br />Dispatch can send Unit directly if citizen meets safety criteria (person not a direct harm to himself or others and no weapons present, etc.) <br />When safety criteria are not met: Unit can respond and stage near the scene for quick access <br />5
