IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2022- RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH BAKER TILLY (FORMERLY MANAGEMENT PARTNERS) FOR STAFFING AND ORGANIZATIONAL REVIEW OF THE ENGINEERING AND TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $39,900. THE CUMULATIVE PROJECT’S BUDGET TOTAL FOR CURRENT AND PLANNED WORK BY BAKER TILLY/MANAGEMENT PARTNERS IS $161,790 WHEREAS, the Engineering and Transportation Department seeks to have an organization assessment conducted, with the goal of taking a fresh look at the department’s structure and staffing, to ensure the department has the optimum structure to provide services to the community; and WHEREAS, Baker Tilly/Management Partners has been under contract with the City for the past two plus years, providing a variety of departmental assessments and fiscal model updates; and WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council approve and authorize the City Manager to enter into a Consulting Services Agreement between the City and Baker Tilly (formerly Management Partners), per the attached scope of work and budget that was presented to this City Council; and WHEREAS the City Council is familiar with the contents of the agreement; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council does RESOLVE as follows: That said amendments to the agreement are hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
