IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO.2022-185 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO.2 TO THE NON-PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH ANI PRIVATE SECURITY AND PATROL, INC. FOR FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023 WHEREAS, an agreement dated July 1, 2022, exists between the City of San Leandro and ANI Private Security and Patrol, Inc.; and WHEREAS, ANI Private Security and Patrol, Inc. provides security services for social events at the Marina and Senior Community Centers, Surlene Grant Community Room, City Hall, and the San Leandro Senior Community Center; and WHEREAS, the City Council supports facility reservations and allows these security services to be available for rentals of the Titan Auditorium at the Marina Community Center and Main Hall at the Senior Community Center, the Surlene Grant Community Room, City Hall, and the San Leandro Senior Community Center; and WHEREAS, the City supports the continuation of a safe environment at social events, City Hall, and the San Leandro Senior Community Center; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the terms of the agreement; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the approval of said agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: 1. That said contract amendment, attached hereto and made a part hereof, is for the duration of the 2022-2023 Fiscal Year and is hereby approved; and 2. That said contract amendment, in a total not to exceed $168,000 is hereby approved; and 3. That the terms of the contract amendment will be memorialized in writing, and that the agreement may be further amended from time to time by the City Manager, subject to the approval of the City Attorney as to form; and 4. That the City Manager is authorized to execute said contract amendment with ANI Private Security and Patrol, Inc.; and 4. That an original executed contract agreement shall be provided to the City Clerk and be attached to and made a part of this resolution.
