1007 IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 76 - 118 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF JEFFERSON STREET The City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That the City Council hereby elects to proceed under the provisions of Chapter a.l of Title V of the San Leandro Municipal Code of 1957. It is the intention of the City Council to vacate a portion of Jefferson Street. Said Jefferson Street is a public street in the City of San Leandro, Ala- meda County, California, officially known and designated as Jefferson Street. That portion of Jefferson Street so proposed to be vacated and abandoned is described as follows: All that real property in the City of San Leandro, County of Alameda, State of California, being a portion of Jefferson Street, formerly Sybil Street, described as follows: That portion of Jefferson Street, formerly Sybil Street, lying northerly of the north line of Chumalia Street, as shown on the "Map of East San Leandro," filed February 20, 1871, in Book 2 of Maps at page 24, Records of Alameda County. These proceedings are taken subject to the reservation and exception therefrom of an easement and right in and for the benefit of the Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, at any time, or from time to time, to enter upon and to construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove and renew storm drains and appurtenant structures in, upon, over and across that portion of said street described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the northeast line of Jefferson Street with the northwest line of Chumalia Street as said streets are shown on said map; thence along last said line south 70° 35' 00" west 6.00 feet to a line drawn parallel with and 6.00 feet southwesterly, measured at right angles, from said northeast line of Jefferson Street; thence along said parallel line north 19° 25' 00" west 102.00 feet; thence at right angles south 70° 35' 00" west 1.50 feet to a line drawn parallel with and 7.50 feet southwesterly, measured at right angles, from said northeast line of Jefferson Street, thence along last said parallel line north 196 25' 00" west 9.50 feet to the north line of said Jefferson Street; thence north 81° 53' 36" east 7.65 feet to the said northeast line of Jefferson Street; thence along last said line south 19° 25' 00' east 110.00 feet to the BEGINNING. The above described parcel of land contains 678 square feet, more or less.
