'TY ENGI M- ER'S REPORT ON <br />VACATION OF 75 FEET OF ALVARADO STREET <br />SOUTH OF ANTONIO STREET <br />1. The following plan and legal description are incorporated as part <br />of this report: <br />Drawing No. 603e Case No. 1602 <br />Description LD 73-13 <br />2. The affected street is shokni as a public street on the map of <br />the "Town of San Leandro, County Seat of Alameda County," filed <br />February 27, 1855, in Map Book 2, page 43, Alameda County Records. <br />3. The serving utilities were notified of the proposed abandonment <br />by letter dated February 21, 1973 and replies indicate no objection <br />to the'abandonment on the condition that the entire right of way <br />be reserved as a public utility easement until such time as all <br />utilities are relocated outside of the vacated street. <br />4. The subject vacation will not deprive property owners access to <br />a public street. <br />5. 1 recommend that the City reserve and except from the vacation, <br />a public utility easement described as the parcel under item <br />No. 1. This easement is to be used for all purposes set forth <br />under the San Leandro Municipal Code of 1957, Section 5-a.1-108. <br />The easement is to be retained until such time as all utilities <br />are relocated outside of the vacated street. <br />TY,e City Engineer finds that the portion of the street described <br />under No. 1 above is unnecessary for present and future public use for <br />street purposes and recommends that the City Council proceed with the <br />proposed vacation. <br />U \ ��'r-10 0-- e� <br />R.
