IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 73 - 226 <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION <br />OF SAN LEANDRO BOULEVARD <br />(Between Williams & Castro - thru W.P.R.R.) <br />The City Council of the City of San Leandro does RF.S01VE as follows: <br />That the City Council hereby elects to proceed under the provisions <br />of Chapter a.l of Title V of the San Leandro Municipal Code of 1957. <br />It is the intention of the City Council to vacate a portion of San <br />Leandro Boulevard. Said San Leandro Boulevard is a public street in the City <br />of San Leandro, Alameda County, California, officially known and designated <br />as San Leandro Boulevard. That portion of San Leandro Boulevard so proposed <br />to be vacated and abandoned is described as follows: <br />Real property in the City of San Leandro, County of Alameda, <br />State of California, being a portion of San Leandro Boulevard, <br />formerly Estudillo Street, as said street is shown on the map <br />of the Hemme Tract, filed October 1, 1889, in Book 9 of Maps <br />at page 33, Alameda County Records, and being further described <br />as follows: <br />Beginning at the intersection of the southwest line of San <br />Leandro Boulevard, formerly Estudillo Street, with the south- <br />east line of Williams Street, 6aid intersection being the <br />northeast corner of Lot 2, as said intersection and lot are <br />shown on said map; thence along the northeasterly prolongation <br />of the said southeast line of Williams Street, north 62° east <br />6.26 feet to a tangent curve, concave to the south, having a <br />radius of 40.00 feet; thence northeasterly, easterly, and south- <br />easterly along said curve, through a central angle of 68° 53', <br />a distance of 48.09 feet to a point of tangency on the north- <br />east line of the Western Pacific Railroad Company Right of Way, <br />80 feet wide; thence along last said line south 49' 07' east <br />102.79 feet to the northeast line of said San Leandro Boulevard; <br />thence along last said line south 28° east 164 feet, more or less <br />to a point on a non -tangent curve, concave to the northwest, <br />having a radius of 48.00 feet, said point being distant along <br />said northeast line of San Leandro Boulevard, north 28° west <br />14.24 feet from the northwest line of Castro Street, as said <br />Boulevard and street are shown on said map (a radial line of <br />last said curve to last said point bears south 36' 27' 04" east); <br />thence southwesterly long last said curve, through a central <br />angle of 3° 36' 11", a distance of 3.02 feet; thence along a line <br />tangent to last said curve south 57° 09' 07" west 77.89 feet to a <br />point on the said southwest line of Sail Leandro Boulevard (said <br />point being distance slung said southwest line of San Teandro <br />Boulevard north 62' west 7.31 feet from the said northwest line <br />of Castro Street; thence along the said southwest line of San <br />Leandro Boulevard north 62' west 292.69 feet to the Beginning. <br />The above described parcel of land contains 20,333 square feet, <br />more or less. <br />- 1 - <br />
