1 IN THE I____ SOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN L] 0 1007 <br />Y <br />ORDINANCE NO. 72 - 22 <br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF EDGEHILL <br />COURT AND SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT IN LOTS <br />32 and 33 of TRACT 2712 <br />Recitals <br />The City Council of the City of San Leandro on March 6, 1972, passed <br />its Resolution of Intention No. 72-70 to vacate a portion of Edgehill Court <br />(a public street in the City of San Leandro) and a sanitary sewer easement <br />shown in lots 32 and 33 on the map of Tract 2712, as hereinafter described. <br />A public hearing was set for March 27, 1972, at which time any person <br />objecting to such vacation was given the opportunity to appear and show <br />cause why such vacation should not be ordered, and notice of such hearing <br />was duly published and posted. <br />Such hearing was held by the City Council on March 27, 1972, and the <br />City Council at the time of such hearing determined that said portion of <br />Edgehill Court and said sanitary sewer easement were unnecessary for present <br />or prospective public use. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does <br />ORDAIN as follows: <br />Section 1. That the following described portion of Edgehill Court located <br />within the City of San Leandro, Alameda County, California, is unnecessary for <br />present or prospective public use and said portion of Edgehill Court is hereby <br />vacated and abandoned: <br />less. <br />Beginning at the northeast corner of lot 31 as said lot is shown on <br />said map, said corner being on a curve concave to the northeast, <br />having a radius of 40.00 feet, (a radial line of said curve to said <br />corner bears south 49' 06' 39" west); thence northwesterly along said <br />curve through a central angle of 17' 11' 20" a distance of 12.00 feet <br />to a point of reverse curve, a tangent at said Doint bears north <br />23° 42' 01" west; thence northwesterly, and westerly along a reverse <br />curve, concave to the southwest, having a radius of 40.00 feet, through <br />a central angle of 56° 37' 59" a distance of 39.54 feet to a point of <br />cusp with a tangent line; thence along said tangent line south <br />80' 20' 00" east 15.00 feet to a tangent curve concave to the south- <br />west having a radius of 256.00 feet; thence easterly, and southeasterly <br />along last said curve through a central angle of 19' 50' 39" a distance <br />of 88.67 feet to a point on a non -tangent curve having a radius of <br />40.00 feet, (a radial lire of last said curve to last said point bears <br />south 51' 38' 45" east); thence southwesterly, westerly and northwesterly <br />along last said curve through a central angle of 100' 45' 24" d distan�:t <br />of 70,34 feet to the Beginning. <br />The above described parcel of land contains 1,820 square tact, .,inre ;,- <br />- 1 - <br />
