1036 <br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77 - 336 <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF <br />CHAPMAN ROAD AND FLORESTA BOULEVARD <br />Recitals <br />The City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That the City Council of the City of San Leandro hereby elects to proceed <br />under the provisions of Chapter a.l of Title V of the San Leandro Municipal Code of <br />1957. <br />It is the intention of the City Council to vacate a portion of Chapman Road, <br />and Floresta Boulevard. Said Chapman Road is a public street in the City of San Leandro, <br />Alameda County, California, officially known and designated as Chapman Road. Said <br />Floresta Boulevard is a public street in the City of San Leando, Alameda County, California, <br />officially known and designated as Floresta Boulevard. That portion of Chapman Road <br />so proposed to be vacated and abandoned is described as <br />follows: <br />Commencing at the intersection of the northwestern line of Floresta <br />Boulevard, formerly Halcyon Drive, said northwestern line being the south- <br />eastern line of Lot 12, as said lot is shown on the "Partition Map of the Leonard <br />Stone Estate", filed October 8, 1895, in Book 15 of Maps, page 36, Alameda <br />County Records, and or its direct production, with the southwestern line <br />of Washington Avenue, formerly Watkins Street as said Washington Avenue <br />existed May 8, 1862; thence along the said southwestern line of Washington <br />Avenue north 28 07' 30" west 142.760 feet to the southwestern line of Chap- <br />man Road, 20 feet wide, as said Chapman Road existed May 8, 1962; thence <br />along the said southwestern line of Chapman Road north 42 40' 45" west <br />47.752 feet to the ACTUAL POINT OF BEGINNING; thence north 280 07' <br />30" west 64.971 feet to a tangent curve conSave to the southwest, having <br />a radius of 32 feet and a central angle of 77 18' 57'; thence northwesterly <br />and westerly along said curve 43.181 feet to the said southwestern line of <br />Chapman Road; thence along the said southwestern line of Chapman Road <br />south 42 40' 45" east 99.378 feet to the actual point of beginning. <br />
