IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />C - <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2 S q S" N. S. <br />RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION <br />OF SAN LEANDRO COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, UNIT NO. 78 <br />(Bayfair Extension) <br />Whereas, this City Council has received the written petition containing <br />a description of the hereinafter described territory by which it is sought to <br />annex such territory to this City, which petition is signed by the owners of <br />not less than one-fourth of the land in the territory by area, and of not less <br />than one-fourth of the assessed value as shown on the last equalized assess- <br />ment roll of the county in which the territory is situated, to wit: being <br />the owner of all of said land; and <br />Whereas, prior to the filing of the above mentioned petition, the pro- <br />posal for annexation of the hereinafter described real property to the City <br />of man Leandro was submitted to and reported upon to the proponents thereof <br />by the Alameda County Boundary Commission, with respect to the definiteness <br />and certainty of the proposed boundaries, the nonconformance of proposed <br />boundaries with lines of assessment or ownership, the creation of islands or <br />corridors of unincorporated territory and other similar matters affecting the <br />proposed boundaries; and <br />Whereas, it appears to this Council that it would be to the advantage of <br />this City that said territory be annexed; and <br />Whereas, said territory is uninhabited: <br />Now, therefore, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE <br />as follows: <br />That notice is hereby given that it is proposed to annex to the City of <br />San Leandro the hereinafter described property which may be and is hereby des- <br />ignated for identification as the "SAN LEANDRO COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, UNIT NO. <br />78 (Bayfair Extension).!' <br />
