IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. _�d 0 �0 C.M.S. <br />RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION <br />OF SAN LEANDRO INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, UNIT NO. 81 <br />(Morris Draying Company) <br />Whereas, this City Council has received a written petition con- <br />taining a description of the hereinafter described territory by which it is <br />sought to annex such territory to this City, which petition is signed by the <br />owner of not less than one-fourth of the land in the territory by area, to <br />wit: the owner of all of said land and of all of the assessed value as <br />shown on the last equalized assessment roll of the county in which the ter- <br />ritory is situated; and <br />Whereas, prior to the filing of the above mentioned petition, the <br />proposal for the annexation of the hereinafter described real property to <br />the City of San Leandro was submitted to and reported upon to the proponent <br />thereof by the Alameda County Boundary Commission of the State of California, <br />with respect to the definiteness and certainty of the proposed boundaries, <br />the nonconformance of proposed boundaries with lines of assessment or owner- <br />ship, the creation of islands or corridors of unincorporated territory and <br />other similar matters affecting the proposed boundaries; and <br />Whereas, it appears to this Council that it would be to the ad- <br />vantage of this City that said territory be annexed; and <br />Whereas, said territory is uninhabited: <br />Now, therefore, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does <br />RESOLVE as follows: <br />That notice is hereby given that it is proposed to annex to the <br />City of San Leandro the hereinafter described property which may be and is <br />hereby designated for identification as "SAN LEANDRO INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, <br />UNIT NO. 81 (Morris Draying Company); <br />That notice is hereby further given that at 7:15 o'clock p.m., on <br />February 29, 1960, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, San Leandro, <br />California, any person owning real property within the boundaries of the <br />hereinafter described territory so proposed to be annexed and having any <br />- 1 - <br />
