STATEMENT OF REASONS FOR PROPOSED PETITION <br />If said territory described in the notice of intention to <br />circulate petition, which notice this statement accompanies, becomes <br />annexed to the City of San Leandro, the inhabitants of the territory <br />proposed to be annexed will be afforded° <br />1. Adequate zoning protection. <br />2. Reduced fire insurance rates. <br />3. Reduced natural gas rates, <br />4. Better police protection, <br />6. Become residents of a well established City which has a <br />large industrial section which insures a firm and very <br />adequate assessed valuation on which adequate tax revenue <br />may be raised in order to successfully operate a city <br />without forcing hardships upon anyone, <br />7. Emergency hospital and ambulance service. <br />8e Improved representation in local problems. <br />9.
