D.zring the time any such ordinance is <br />in effect the mode and manner of assessing property for <br />purposes of municipal taxation, of eau:lizinr assessments, .. <br />and of levying and collectio7 taxes for municipal p=poses, ` <br />the nati=e of the lien therefor, the manner and method <br />of enforcinq, the same and of the redemption of property <br />sold for non-payment of taxes, and all proceedir-gs relating <br />to said matters, or to such transfer or any detail thereof, <br />shall be fixed and established by such ordinances as may <br />be adopted by the Council, and so far as arplicable shall <br />be substantially the same as may be provided by la—v for <br />such matters in relation to county taxes in Alameda County." <br />SEAS, the City did, on the loth day of April, 1947, enact an <br />Ordinance entitled: <br />"An ordinance amending Chapter 3 of Title II of the <br />Code, providing for the transfer to and the assi--Dtion <br />and performance by officers, boards or commissions of <br />Alameda County of the t�-,Tictinns of the Cit-,r of San T.-Pvi ,ro <br />relatiry to the assessment of property for taxation, the <br />equalization and correction of such assessments, the <br />collection, payment and enforcement of taxes, assessments <br />or penalties levied for municipal purposes, including <br />delinquent taxes or assessments, the sale of property <br />for the nonpayment of municipal taxes or assessments or <br />penalties levied thereon and the redemption t ereof, and <br />any and all of the powers, duties or functions of any <br />officer, board or commission of said City of San Leandro <br />relating thereto", <br />][mown as Ordinance No. 736 N.S. of said City of San Leandro; and <br />AREAS, said Ordinance provides that the said City elects to <br />avail itself of the provisions of an Act of the Legislature of the State <br />of California, entitled: <br />"An Act to provide for the assessment of property in <br />cities governed under freeholder's charters, framed under <br />the provisions of the constitution of this state, for the <br />aniatcipal tales of such cities, and for the equalization <br />and correction of such assessment by county officers, for <br />the collection and enforcement of the payment of such taxes, <br />including, delinquent taxes, by such officers, for the sale <br />and redemption from sale of property sold for the non-payment <br />2. <br />
