i <br />1 <br />l l41758 <br />RE:3536 !M 565 <br />IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 73 - 50 <br />RESOLUTION OF ANNEXATION <br />Recitals <br />The City of San Leandro initiated proceedings to annex territory here- <br />inafter described. <br />Annexation without notice or hearing was approved by the Local Agency <br />Formation Commission of Alameda County. <br />All affected property owners have consented to said annexation. <br />Said territory is uninhabited as defined by the Annexation of Uninhabited <br />Territory Act of 1939. <br />On February 5, 1973, the City Council of the City of San Leandro adopted <br />Resolution No. 73-44, giving notice of proposed annexation of said properties. <br />No persons owning property within the City of San Leandro who do not <br />also own property within the area to be annexed appeared to protest said an- <br />nexation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE <br />as follows: <br />That, pursuant to Section 35310.1 of the Government Code, the City Coun- <br />cil of the City of San Leandro does hereby approve the annexation of the <br />territory hereinafter described, which property is designated as "Grant Avenue <br />Annexation, Unit 91, Jeras Corporation"; <br />That the territory proposed to be annexed is described as all that land <br />situated in the Township of Eden, Alameda County, California: <br />BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the Southern Boundary <br />line of that certain tract of land annexed to the City of San <br />Leandro under Ordinance No. 1009 N.S., adopted August 6, 1956, <br />a map of which was filed January 14, 1957, in Map Book 40, at <br />pages 81-83 thereof, Records of Alameda County, California, <br />with the Northwestern line of Grant Avenue, 86.00 feet wide, <br />as said Northwestern line is shown delineated on "Record of <br />Survey No. 476," filed July 13, 1972, in Book 8 of Record of <br />Surveys, at pages 85-89, (72-94266), Records of Alameda County, <br />California; running thence Southwesterly along said Northwestern <br />line of said avenue 794.751 feet to an angle point or. the general <br />Southern boundary line of said Record of Survey No. 476; thence <br />Northwesterly leaving said Northwestern line of said avenue, along <br />said general Southern boundary line of said Record of Survey <br />No. 476, 108.232 feet to said Southern Boundary line of said <br />City of San Leandro; thence Northeasterly along the last named <br />line 778.25 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. <br />
