SCHWESER <br />Regarding our conversation concerning the detachment of two areas from the <br />Hayward Area Recreation and Park District, the following information is <br />presented: <br />"Hesperian Boulevard Annexation, Unit No.90," detachment from the Hayward <br />Area Recreation and Park District. <br />This proposal was approved by the Commission on March 22, 1973, pursuant to <br />LAFC Resolution No. 73-5. Since this was not a 100% consent petition, the <br />matter was published in the Hayward Review on March 8 and March 18, 1973. <br />Copies of the Commission action were filed with all affected districts, in- <br />cluding the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District. <br />"Grant Avenue Annex, Unit 91," to the City of San Leandro <br />The Commission approved the annexation of this parcel to the City of San <br />Leandro at its meeting of December 14, 1972. This action was taken by Reso- <br />lution No. 72-23, attached. You will note that one of the conditions of this <br />annexation was detachment of the area from the Hayward Area Recreation and Park <br />District. In this particular matter, the Park District was inadvertently om- <br />mitted from the notice of meeting. In view of the fact that this notice was <br />omitted, it is agreed that this matter will be placed on the Commission's agenda <br />for the July meeting, in order that the District may be notified and given an <br />opportunity to address the Commission on this matter. <br />With the action proposed for the July meeting, there should be no reason why <br />the area should not be detached by the Board of Commissioners of the Recreation <br />and Park District. <br />If you have any further questions, please feel free to call me. <br />Very truly yours, <br />RM:hs R LAND �MAY�NE�� <br />Executive Officer <br />cc: City Manager, San Leandro <br />
