r ; 7"s w <br />Approved a4Aorm and <br />Legality <br />orney <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />20,761 <br />TIFI , A T_U , COPY <br />East Bay Municipal Utility District <br />OBJECTING TO THE ANNEXATION TO <br />EAST BAY MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT <br />OF TERRITORY DESCRIBED AS <br />"SAN LEANDRO INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, UNIT NO. 82 <br />(Helen E. McCune)", <br />ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO, AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF WRITTEN OBJECTIONS TO <br />THE ANNEXATION OF SAID TERRITORY TO THE DISTRICT <br />Introduced by Director ROWNSON ; Seconded by Director CARRINGTON <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 13911 of the Municipal <br />Utility District Act, the City Clerk of the City of San <br />Leandro filed on November 16, 1961, with the Secretary of <br />East Bay Municipal Utility District, a certified copy of Ordi- <br />nance No. 1346 N.S. of said City, which ordinance approved the <br />annexation to said City of territory described therein and <br />designated "San Leandro Industrial District, Unit No. 82 (Helen <br />E. McCune)"; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the District hereby <br />finds and determines that the annexation of said territory to <br />the District at this time would not facilitate the acquisition <br />or operation of any public utility for the District and would <br />not at this time be of advantage to the District; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that East Bay Municipal <br />Utility District objects to the annexation of said territory to <br />the District and authorizes and directs the Secretary to file, <br />pursuant 'to law, the District's written objections to the annexa- <br />tion of said territory to the District with the City Clerk of <br />the City of Sal: Leandro within 90 days after the filing of said <br />ordinance with the Secretary of the District. <br />ATTEST: <br />(1-12-62 ) <br />b K �AUMM <br />Se c re ary <br />LOUIS J.
