8/9i61 <br />Bill Smallwood, of the Alameda County Surveyor's <br />Office, phoned to advise that this proposed annexation <br />violates Section 35002.3 of the Government Code in that it <br />creates a corridor 5/8 of a foot wide. The McCune property <br />consists of 9.9 + acres. The corridor is left so that a <br />piece of land contiguous to McCune consisting of six acres <br />would remain in the unincorporated area. It is my thinking <br />that the Council should initiate proceedings to annex both <br />parcels and also any older corridor which may exist. Have <br />public works prepare a map showing the area with such older <br />corridor. <br />AMC <br />
