a <br />That notice is hereby further given that at 7:15 o'clock <br />p.m., on October 14, 1963, in the Council Chambers of the City <br />Hall, San Leandro, California, any person owning real property <br />within the boundaries of the hereinafter described territory so <br />proposed to be annexed and having any objections to the proposed <br />annexation may appear before this City Council and show cause why <br />such territory should not be annexed; <br />That at any time not later than the hour set for hearing objec- <br />tions to the proposed annexation, any owner of property within the <br />territory proposed to be annexed may file written protest against <br />the proposed annexation. Such protest shall state the name of the <br />owner of the property affected thereby and the description and area <br />of such property in general terms; <br />That the territory herein referred to is uninhabited and is <br />contiguous to the present boundary line of the City; <br />That the boundaries of the territory hereinabove proposed to be <br />annexed are specifacaily described as all that land situated in the <br />Township of Eden, Alameda County, California, bounded as follows: <br />BEGINNING at the intersection of the northeastern line of <br />the Southern Pacific Company right of way with the south- <br />western line of the parcel of land described in the deed <br />by Dennis Sullivan to John Mathews, dated March 9, 1875, <br />and recorded in Book 105 of Deeds, at page 415, Alameda <br />County Records, said southwestern line being the City of <br />San Leandro boundary line established by Ordinance No. 723 N.S. <br />as shown on the map entitled: "Map Delineating Boundary of <br />Territory Annexed to the City of San Leandro, California by <br />Ordinance No. 723 N.S. under Annexation Uninhabited Territory <br />Act of 1929," filed December 12, 1946 in Book 9 of Maps, <br />page 46, Alameda County Records; thence along the said City <br />of San Leandro boundary line north 13` 02' west 458.10 feet <br />to an intersection thereof with the northwesterly line of <br />that certain parcel of land conveyed by East Bay Title Co., <br />a California corporation, to Dallman Supply Company, a <br />partnership, by deed dated February 5, 1963, and recorded <br />in Reel 793 of Official Records, at image 251, Records of <br />Alameda County, California; thence along said northwesterly <br />line and along the direct production southwesterly thereof <br />south 76' 58' west to the northeastern line of the City of <br />San Leandro boundary line established by Ordinance No. 846 N.S. <br />as shown on the map entitled "Map Delineating Boundary of <br />Territory Annexed to the City of San Leandro, California, <br />zv= <br />
