CERTIFICATE REQUIRED BY SECTION <br />35142 OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE <br />CITY OF SAN LEANDRO ) <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA ) sse <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) <br />I, H. H. Burbank, City Clerk of the City of San Leandro, <br />hereby certify that on the 14th day of May, 1957, a special <br />election was duly held in the territory hereinafter designated <br />on the question of annexation thereof to said City; and that the <br />returns of said election were duly canvassed by the City Council <br />of said City on the 21st day of May, 1957, and that it appears <br />from such canvass that of the 526 votes cast, there were 374 <br />votes in favor of the annexation of such territory and 3-514 <br />against the annexation. I further certify that hereunto is <br />annexed a full, true, and correct copy of Ordinance No. 1054 N.S. <br />as regularly passed and adopted by said City Council on the 27th <br />day of May, 1957, setting forth approval of the annexation to the <br />City of San Leandro of the territory therein designated as "Mul- <br />ford Gardens", being the territory in which the aforementioned <br />election was held, and that the description of the boundaries of <br />said territory appearing in said ordinance is by this reference <br />made a part hereof. <br />In Witness Whereof, I hereunto set my hand and affix the <br />seal of the City of San Leandro this 28th day of May, 1957. <br />I <br />JOE - <br />5/17/57/ah <br />
