IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
RESOLUTION NO.3/ S C.M.S.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CALLING
A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON THE FOURTEENTH
DAY OF MAY, 1957, PERTAINING TO THE ANNEXATION
OF MULFORD GARDENS TO THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO
Whereas, by Resolution No. 3145 C.M.S., the City Council of the City
of San Leandro declared its intention to call a special election to be
held on the fourteenth day of May, 1957, in certain inhabited territory
contiguous to said City proposed to be annexed to said City, for the pur-
pose of submitting to the qualified electors residing in said territory
the question whether or not said territory shall be annexed to said City;
and
Whereas, a copy of said resolution was published as required by law;
and
Whereas, at a time not later than the hour set by said resolution
for hearing objections to the proposed election, a petition purporting to
be a protest against the proposed election was filed with the Clerk.
