That immediately upon completion of the Nimitz Freeway Annexation, <br />this City Council shall proceed under the provisions of Section 14540 <br />of the Health and Safety Code to withdraw from the Ashland County Fire <br />Protection District that portion of the annexed territory which is con- <br />tained within said District; and that said withdrawal shall be effec- <br />tive as soon as practicable thereafter. <br />Introduced by Councilman Taylor and passed and adopted <br />this 15th day of November 1965, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />Ayes: Councilmen: Polvorosa, Pomares, Suerstedt, Taylor; <br />Vice -Mayor Swift ( 5 ) <br />Noes: None ( 0 ) <br />Absent: Councilmen: Kant; Mayor Maltester ( 2 ) <br />Wi l i%m 'Swl ft;' Mayor pro tempore <br />of, the-Ci tY oil Spn Leandrb. <br />Attest: <br />Richard H.
