CITY . -- . <br />CITY Oi r,Ar1 LF.eP4DR0 <br />THE ALAMEDA COUNTY BOUNDARY COMMISSION <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION NO..__902.................. <br />The Honorable Board of Supervisors <br />County Administration Building <br />1221 Oak Street - Room 536 <br />Oakland, California 94612 <br />Gentlemen: <br />WHEREAS, there was submitted to the Alameda County Boundary Commission on September 10, 1965, <br />a proposal from the Alameda County Board of Supervisors to annex to the City of San Leandro <br />certain territory designated Proposed "Nimitz Freeway Annexation;" and <br />WHEREAS, the Alameda County Boundary Commission did at its meeting of September 23, 1965 <br />give consideration to such proposal and did compare the proposed change in the boundaries of said District or City <br />with those of other districts or cities within the County and ascertained the extent to which overlapping or conflict- <br />ing boundaries may result from such proposal, and did consider all other factors in connection with such proposal <br />that might be inimical to the public interest; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is the report and recommendation of the Alameda County <br />Boundary Commission with respect to the proposal from the Alameda County Board of Supervisors to <br />annex to the City of San Leandro certain territory designated Proposed "Nimitz Freeway <br />Annexation:" <br />1. That the description and map be considered satisfactory as submitted if the <br />description is corrected as shown thereon in red. <br />2. That the Districts affecting the boundaries of the above -mentioned proposed <br />annexation are as follows: <br />a. County Road District No. 1. <br />b. San Leandro Unified School District. <br />c. San Lorenzo Unified School District. <br />d. South County Joint Junior College District. <br />e. County Flood Control and Water Conservation District <br />f. Alameda -Contra Costa Transit District. <br />g. San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District. <br />h. County Mo-quito Abatement District. <br />i. Bay Area Air Pollution Control District. <br />County Free Library System. <br />k. Eden Township Hospital District. <br />1. East Bay Regional Park District. <br />m. Hayward Area Recreation and Park District. <br />n. East Bay Municipal Utility District. <br />o. Ashland County Fire Protection District. <br />p. Eden Township County Water District. <br />q. Oro Loma Sanitary District. <br />r. Washington Manor Community Services District. <br />(Zones 2, 9 and 13). <br />3.
