That sai d charu to be used for carrying ef: ;°" i'rom the San Leandro <br />Sakrage Disposal Plant to the open waters of the San Francisco Bay where the joint <br />action of tides and wind will dissipate such effluent; <br />: vat p-ublic health and safety demands that the police powers of the City be <br />extendd so as to control persons and activities using said channel for any other <br />purpose; and be it• further <br />RE <br />S LVED, that notice is hereby further given that at 8:15 o'clock p.m. on <br />S� <br />1955, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, San Leandro, Cali- <br />fornia, any person owning real property within the boundaries of the hereinafter <br />described territory so proposed to be annexed and having any objections to the <br />proposed annexation may appear before this City Council and show cause why such <br />territory should not be annexed; <br />Said territory is hereby designated as "Outfall Sewer Channel Annexation, <br />Unit 1Vo. 63" . <br />That at any time not later than the hour set for hearing objections to the pro- <br />posed annexation, any owner of property within the territory proposed to be annexed <br />may file written protest against the proposed annexation. Such protest shall state <br />the name or names of the owner or owners of the property affected thereby and the <br />description and area of such property in general terms; <br />That the territory herein referred to is uninhabited and is contiguous to the <br />present boundary line of the City; <br />That the boundaries of the territory hereinabove proposed to be annexed are <br />specifically described as all that land situated in the township of Eden, Alameda <br />County, California, bounded as folloWso <br />BEC►I WNG at the southwest corner of Lot 24 in section 33, T. 2 S., R. 3 W., <br />M.D.M., as said lot is shown on "Sale Map No. 10 of Salt Marsh and Tide Lands, <br />situate in the County of Alameda, State of California", filed June 9, 1888 in <br />the Office of the County Recorder of Alameda County in Map Book 17, page 30, said <br />southwest corner being also on the City of San Leandro boundary line as established <br />by Ordinance No. 925 N.S. and as shown on that certain map entitled- "Map De- <br />lineating Boundary of the Territory Annexed to the City of San Leandro, California, <br />by Ordinance Noo 925 N.S. Under Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939" <br />
