That notice is hereby given that the City Council proposes <br />to annex to the City of San Leandro the hereinafter described <br />property which may be and is hereby designated for identification <br />as the "Portion of Eastshore Freeway, Unit No. 77"; <br />That notice is hereby further given that at 8:15 o'clock p.m., <br />Tionday, February 24, 1958, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, <br />San Leandro, California, any person owning real property within the <br />boundaries of the hereinafter described territory so proposed to be <br />annexed and having any objections to the proposed annexation, may <br />appear before this City Council and show cause why such territory <br />should not be annexed; <br />That at any time before the hour set for hearing objections <br />any owner of property within the territory proposed to be annexed <br />may file written protest against the proposed annexation. Such pro- <br />test shall state the name or names of the owner of the property <br />affected thereby and the description and area of such property in <br />c;eneral terms; <br />That the territory herein referred to is uninhabited and is <br />contiguous to the present boundary line of the City of San Leandro; <br />That the boundaries of the territory hereinabove proposed to <br />be annexed are specifically described as all that land situated in <br />the Township of Eden, County of Alameda, State of California, bounded <br />as follows: <br />Commencing at the point of intersection of the <br />west line of Hesperian Boulevard with the north <br />line of Lewelling Boulevard being on the City <br />of San Leandro boundary line as shown on the <br />map entitled, 111•IAP DELINEATING BOUNDARY OF <br />TERRITORY AZ51EXED TO THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO, <br />CALIFORNIA, BY ORDINANCE NO. 945 N.S. UNDER <br />ANNEXATION ACT OF 1913"; thence along the said <br />north line of Lewelling Boulevard and City of <br />San Leandro boundary line south 89' 301 20" <br />west 198.81 feet, more or less, to the north- <br />east line of the Eastshore Freeway; thence along <br />the last mentioned line north 780 36' 20" west <br />138.83 feet to a tangent curve concave to the <br />northeast and having a radius of 150.00 feet; <br />thence northwesterly 65.67 feet along said curve <br />- 2 - <br />
