IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3V_� �C.M.S- <br />RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION <br />OF SAN LEANDRO INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, UNIT NO. 76 <br />(United Centrifugal Pumps) <br />Whereas, this City Council has received the written petition containing <br />a description of the hereinafter described territory by which it is sought <br />to annex such territory to this City, which petition is signed by the owners <br />of rkl-,I., Mess than one-fourth of the land in the territory by area, and of not <br />less :.pan one-fourth of the assessed value as shown on the last equalized <br />assessment roll of the county in which the territory is situated; and <br />Whereas, prior to the filing of the above mentioned petition, the pro- <br />posal for the annexation of the hereinafter described real property to the <br />City of San Leandro was submitted to and reported upon to the proponents <br />thereof by the Alameda County Boundary Commission, with respect to the defi- <br />niteness and certainty of the proposed boundaries, the nonconformance of <br />proposed boundaries with lines of assessment or ownership, the creation of <br />islands or corridors of unincorporated territory and other similar matters <br />affecting the proposed boundaries; and <br />Whereas, it appears to this Council that it would be to the advantage <br />of this City that said territory be annexed; and <br />Whereas, said territory is uninhabited - <br />Now, therefore, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does <br />RESOLVE as follows: <br />That notice is hereby given that it is proposed to annex to the City <br />of San Leandro the hereinafter described property which may be and is hereby <br />designated for identification as the "SAN LEANDRO INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, UNIT <br />NO. 76 (United Centrifugal Pump)"; <br />That notice is hereby given that at 7:15 o'clock p.m., on Monday, <br />November 25, 1957, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, San Leandro, <br />California, any person owning real property within the boundaries of the <br />hereinafter described territory so proposed to be annexed and having any <br />objections to the proposed annexation may appear before this City Council and <br />show cause why such territory should not be annexed; <br />
