IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 3V_� �C.M.S- RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF SAN LEANDRO INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, UNIT NO. 76 (United Centrifugal Pumps) Whereas, this City Council has received the written petition containing a description of the hereinafter described territory by which it is sought to annex such territory to this City, which petition is signed by the owners of rkl-,I., Mess than one-fourth of the land in the territory by area, and of not less :.pan one-fourth of the assessed value as shown on the last equalized assessment roll of the county in which the territory is situated; and Whereas, prior to the filing of the above mentioned petition, the pro- posal for the annexation of the hereinafter described real property to the City of San Leandro was submitted to and reported upon to the proponents thereof by the Alameda County Boundary Commission, with respect to the defi- niteness and certainty of the proposed boundaries, the nonconformance of proposed boundaries with lines of assessment or ownership, the creation of islands or corridors of unincorporated territory and other similar matters affecting the proposed boundaries; and Whereas, it appears to this Council that it would be to the advantage of this City that said territory be annexed; and Whereas, said territory is uninhabited - Now, therefore, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That notice is hereby given that it is proposed to annex to the City of San Leandro the hereinafter described property which may be and is hereby designated for identification as the "SAN LEANDRO INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, UNIT NO. 76 (United Centrifugal Pump)"; That notice is hereby given that at 7:15 o'clock p.m., on Monday, November 25, 1957, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, San Leandro, California, any person owning real property within the boundaries of the hereinafter described territory so proposed to be annexed and having any objections to the proposed annexation may appear before this City Council and show cause why such territory should not be annexed;
