That at any time not later than the hour set for hearing objections to <br />the proposed annexation, any owner of property within the territory proposed <br />to be amexe:d may file written protest against the proposed annexation. Such <br />protest shall state the name of the owner of the property affected thereby <br />and the description and area of such property in general terms; <br />That the territory herein referred to is uninhabited and is contiguous <br />to the present boundary line of the City; <br />That the boundaries of the territory hereinabove proposed to be annexed <br />are sp:.k:ifically described as all that land situated in the Township of Eden, <br />County of Alameda, State of California bounded as follows-. <br />Beginning at the most northern corner of the parcel of land annexed <br />to the City of San Leandro by Ordinance No. 852 N.S. and as shown on the <br />map entitled, "MAP DELINEATING BOUNDARY OF TERRITORY ANNEXED TO THE CITY <br />OF SAN LEANDRO, CALIFORNIA, BY ORDINANCE N0. 852 N.S. UNDER ANNEXATION OF <br />UNINHABITED TERRITORY ACT OF 1939", filed January 31, 1952 in Book 32 of <br />Maps, page 38, Records of Alameda County, California, being on the south- <br />east line of First Avenue, formerly West Avenue 132, as shown on the above <br />mentioned map; thence northeasterly 350.70 feet along the last mentioned <br />line; thence southeasterly 993.66 feet to the City of San Leandro Boundary <br />Line as established by Ordinance No.. 845 N.S. and as shown on the map en- <br />titled, "MAP DELINEATING BOUNDARY OF TERRITORY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF SAN <br />LEANDRO, CALIFORNIA, BY cRaNAir E N0. 845 N.S, UNDER ANNEXATION OF UNIN- <br />HABITED TERRITORY ACT OF 1939", filed November 16, 1951 in Book 32 of Maps, <br />page 27, Records of Alameda County, California; thence southwesterly <br />350.70 feet along the last mentioned line to the City of San Leandro Bound- <br />ary Line as established by said Ordinance No. 852 N.S.; thence northwest- <br />erly 993.66 feet along the last mentioned line to the point of beginning. <br />The above described parcel of land contains approximately 8 acres. <br />Introduced by Councilman and passed and <br />adopted this 21st day of October, 1957, by the following called vote: <br />Ayes- Councilmen: IQ <br />Noes.- Councilmen: <br />Absent.- Councilmen: ( ) <br />Attest.- <br />H; H.
