IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO ORDINANCE NO. 64 - 25 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE VII OF THE CODE BY ADDING A NEW CHAPTER (CHAPTER 3a) THERETO: RE- LATING TO INTERIM ZONING Whereas, the area known and designated as "Eden Road Properties" has been annexed to the City of San Leandro by Resolution No. 64 - 114, which Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of San Leandro on May 11, 1964; and Whereas, urgent planning studies are required for the preservation of property values, the maintenance of health, peace, and living con- ditions, and to provide for the orderly and proper development of the entire area as an integral part of the entire City; while the preserva- tion of the public peace, health, safety, and welfare of the City of San Leandro requires and demands that such studies be undertaken and commenced forthwith; and Whereas, in order to accomplish the foregoing purposes it is nec- essary that the following interim regulations governing the use and enjoyment of property within said area be adopted forthwith: Now, therefore, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN as follows: Section 1. No building or structure shall be erected, constructed, reconstructed, or structurally altered in any manner nor shall any land be used for any purposes in said area other than as permitted by the terms of this Chapter. Section 2. The area annexed to the City of San Leandro by Resolution No. 64 - 114 is hereby zoned and classified as I-P (Industrial Park) District as such district is defined in Chapter 3, Title VII of this Code. Section 3. The property referred to in Section 2 above and hereby zoned as I-P District is all that land situated in the City of San Leandro, Alameda County, California, more particularly described as follows:
