t . <br />THE ALAMEDA COUNTY BOUNDARY COMMISSION <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION NO.__ $$8__________________ <br />The llonorable Board of Supervisors <br />County Administration Building <br />1221 Oak Street - Room 0-36 <br />Oakland, California 94612 <br />Gentlemen: <br />WHEREAS, there was submitted to the Alameda County Boundary Commission on June 1, 1965, <br />a proposal from the City of San Leandro to annex thereto certain territory designated <br />"Annexation of San Leandro Industrial District, Unit No. 88 (Robertson Truck -A -Ways, <br />Inc.);" and <br />WHEREAS, the Alameda County Boundary Commission did at its meeting of June 21, 1965 <br />give consideration to such proposal and did compare the proposed change in the boundaries of said District or City <br />with those of other districts or cities within the County and ascertained the extent to which overlapping or conflict- <br />inc boundaries may result from such proposal, and did consider all other factors in connection with such proposal <br />that might be inimical to the public interest; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE "IT RESOLVED that it is the report and recommendation of the Alameda County <br />Boundary Commission with respect to the proposal from the City of San Leandro to annex thereto <br />certain territory designated "Annexation of San Leandro Industrial District, Unit No. 88 <br />(Robertson Truck -A -Ways, Inc.):" <br />1. That the description and map be considered satisfactory if corrected as shown there- <br />on in red. <br />2. That the Districts affecting the boundaries of the above -mentioned proposed annexation <br />are as follows: <br />a) San Leandro Unified School District. <br />b) South County Joint Janior College District. <br />c) County Road District No. 1. <br />d) County Flood Control and Water Conservation District <br />e) Alameda -Contra Costa Transit District. <br />f) San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District. <br />g) County mosquito Abatement District. <br />h" Bay Area Air Pollution Control District. <br />ij County Free Library System. <br />j) Eden Township Hospital District. <br />k) East Bay Regional Park District. <br />1) East Lwy Municipal Utility District. <br />(Zone No. 9). <br />Note: Item 1 (E.B.1:.U.D.) affects this proposal's northwesterly 150 <br />feet only, fronting on Marina Boulevard at said depth. <br />3.
