<br />11 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />DAILY VEHICLE INSPECTION <br />Pre- and post-shift visual inspection conducted by the supervisor along with the parking enforcement <br />officer and notated on the vehicle inspection form. Once the inspection is complete, both supervisor <br />and P.E.O. initial the inspection form. <br /> Visually inspect the vehicle for physical damage and notated on the form <br /> Visually inspect to ensure brake lights, running lights, turn signals, windshield wiper and amber <br />lights are working properly <br /> Visually inspect tires to ensure they are properly inflated, and tread level is acceptable <br /> Visually inspect to ensure vehicles are equipped with proper safety kits, including first aid, <br />cones, and hazard marking devices such as flares <br /> Visually inspect the interior of the vehicle for cleanliness <br /> <br />INTEGRATION WITH LICENSE PLATE READERS (LPR) <br />Consultant’s selected vehicles will be suitable for deployment of LPR as well. With the digital chalking <br />features through Genetec’s AutoVu integrated with the Data Ticket software, officers will be able to enforce <br />time limit zones with efficiency through Plate Link technology, where the digital chalking will be stored in the <br />cloud and the information will be shared amongst all the devices. The interior and exterior design of the <br />vehicle allows for easy placement of the LPR equipment both inside and outside of the vehicle. Consultant <br />will re-install the existing LPR units. <br /> <br />DATA COLLECTION SERVICES <br />Consultant, whether through staff and analyst or utilizing strategic subcontractors, we are fully capable to <br />adapt to requests and to support ongoing and dynamic data collection in San Leandro. <br /> <br />Gathering data through the LPR units, paired with their field team’s visual inspection of signage and curb <br />information provide valuable occupancy data that will help progress San Leandro’s parking program.
