<br />19 <br /> <br /> <br />Performance Standards <br />The Consultant will be responsible for adhering to the City’s Parking Enforcement Performance Standards, <br />listed below: <br /> <br />Parking Citations Issued an Error <br />Any parking citations that are issued in error must be brought to the City’s designee immediately after <br />issuance. Parking Enforcement Officers (PEO) are not allowed to void citations. Voided parking citations <br />will be recorded and monitored via the citation database. <br /> <br />Acceptable Time Gaps between Parking Citations <br />All PEOs are expected to be patrolling and issuing appropriate citations/warning notices as necessary during <br />their shifts. A PEO must be able to account for all time and streets patrolled during each shift by producing a <br />valid Daily Activity Report (DAR). <br /> <br />Customer Service <br />Consultant’s employees shall professionally conduct themselves at all times. Consultant shall investigate and <br />take appropriate action for all customer complaints regarding contracted employees (including improper use <br />of equipment). Contract Executive will oversee such investigations and report their findings to the City <br />promptly. <br /> <br />Weekly Operations Meeting <br />The Consultant shall meet with the City’s authorized representative(s) weekly to review operational, safety, <br />and performance issues. In addition, Consultant shall have the Contract Executive overseeing the contract <br />meet with the City once per month. <br /> <br /> <br />Liquidated Damages <br />The following are the proposed liquidated damages that would be incorporated into the Consultant’s <br />agreement: <br /> <br />Adhering to Enforcement Schedule and Staffing Levels <br />If the Consultant fails to meet its schedule and staffing obligations, provide the parking enforcement services <br />as mutually established in the Scope of Work, the City will issue a written warning. If such an incident occurs <br />again, the Consultant will be assessed liquidated damage of $500. Should a similar violation occur again <br />during the contract term, the Consultant will be assessed liquidated damages without the benefit of warning <br />in the amount of $500 per incident. <br /> <br />Reporting <br />If the Consultant fails to submit any reports identified in the Scope of Work, the City will issue a written <br />warning.
