IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2022-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO <br />APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER A CONSULTING <br />SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH TAIT & ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR <br />THE PWSC REPLACE FUEL TANKS PROJECT NO. 2020.3600 FOR AN <br />AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $118,512; TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />APPROVE CUMULATIVE AGREEMENT AMENDMENTS UP TO 15% ($17,777) OF <br />THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT AMOUNT (PROVIDES FOR THE ENGINEERING AND <br />DESIGN TO REMOVE AND REPLACE FOUR UNDERGROUND FUEL <br />STORAGE TANKS) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and TAIT & Associates, Inc., <br />was presented to this City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council is familiar with the contents of the agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council does RESOLVE as follows: <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby approves and authorizes the City Manager to accept the <br />proposal herein <br />mentioned; negotiate, approve, and execute the agreement for design and engineering services with <br />TAIT & Associates for an amount not to exceed $118,512; and <br /> <br />That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to negotiate and approve individual <br />agreement amendments to the consulting services agreement up to 15% (or $17,777) of the original <br />contract amount. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember_______ and passed and adopted this 19th day of December <br />2022, by the following vote: <br /> <br />Members of the Council: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> Kelly B.
