<br />Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and Last revised 12/20/2022 <br />TAIT & Associates, Inc. for PWSC Replace Fuel Tanks Exhibit A – Page 5 of 6 <br />• Technical information for addenda <br />Information Provided by City: <br />• Reproduction, advertising, and distribution of all bid documents <br />• Conduct pre-bid meeting <br />• Respond to bidders’ questions and issue addenda incorporating <br />consultant’s technical responses <br />TASK F - CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT SERVICES <br />Consult Deliverables: <br />1. Attend the pre-construction meeting. Consultant shall be prepared to address <br />possible construction pitfalls, items for the construction management team to <br />be aware of (special working hours, shortened timelines for submittal <br />reviews, etc.). <br />2. Attend biweekly construction progress meetings. <br />3. Observe hazardous materials testing, sampling or clearance inspection (if <br />necessary) <br />4. Assist with completion and submission of UST removal application to the <br />City. <br />5. Participate in the final inspection and development of punch lists. <br />6. Respond to RFIs, which includes clarifying or providing revisions or additional <br />detail where necessary on the plans and specifications. Response to RFIs <br />shall be within five (5) working days avoid construction delays and claims. <br />7. For projects with a building permit, the Consultant shall stamp and sign any <br />revisions to the contract plans as a result of responses to RFIs or as a result <br />of executed change orders. Consultant shall ensure that all changes are in <br />compliance with the applicable codes. The City shall be responsible for <br />resubmission to the Building Department if necessary. <br />8. Review and respond to all submittals within the period allocated in the <br />contract documents and as necessary to avoid construction delays and <br />claims. <br />9. Review proposed substitutions, if any, for conformance to plans and technical <br />specifications. <br />10. Review and make recommendations on proposed changes to the contract <br />(Request for Quotations and Contract Change Orders). <br />11. Prepare Record Drawings based upon red-lines provided by the contractor <br />and field reviews. The Record Drawings shall be prepared digitally, using <br />AutoCAD. Final Record Drawings shall be submitted electronically, in PDF <br />and CAD format. All Record Drawing Plan Sheets must have a Record <br />Drawing Stamp that includes: Record Drawings Title, Preparer’s name, and <br />Date. Hardcopies of the sheets with changes shall be submitted to the <br />Building Department for record. <br />12. All revisions must be clouded. Record drawings revision number must be <br />included and tabulated in the Plans Revision table. <br />13.
