<br />Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and December 15, 2022 Karen McNamara Exhibit A – Page 1 of 2 <br />EXHIBIT A SCOPE OF SERVICES AND COMPENSATION SCHEDULE <br />Karen McNamara <br />2547 Paddock Drive <br />San Ramon, CA 94583 <br /> <br />Phase I ‐ Proposed Current Scope of Work: Not to Exceed $20,000 <br /> <br />1. Review status of current contracts and agreements requiring updating. City of San Leandro to <br />provide copies of agreements and prior bid documents to consultant. (Consider setting up a <br />Sharepoint folder for this project that consultant can access.) <br /> <br />2. Review municipal code and city policies on purchasing and bidding. Review City of San Leandro <br />documents related to compliance with public contract code and other policies. City of San <br />Leandro to provide copies or electronic access to consultant. <br /> <br />3. Develop timeline, priorities and process for approval(s) by City of San Leandro for successful <br />completion of executed agreements by June 30, 2023 with one or more vendors for each <br />maintenance contract area. Identify work to be performed by City of San Leandro staff and by <br />consultant. Provide consultant with a copy of Department Organizational chart. <br /> <br />4. Develop scope of work for the following maintenance contracts for approval by City of San <br />Leandro. Meet with designated field supervisor/personnel to review maintenance needs in <br />future agreement. Recommend most feasible options for bundling/unbundling scope of work. <br /> <br />a. Landscape Maintenance – Medians and Right of Way & City facilities including irrigated <br />and non-irrigated areas; Weed Abatement; plant maintenance <br />b. Turf Mowing – City play fields <br />c. Irrigation <br />d. Mowing, edging <br />e. Aeration and Fertilization <br />f. Weed abatement <br />g. Janitorial Services – City facilities and city parks <br />h. Other contracts as directed/prioritized by City <br /> <br />5. For each maintenance agreement, develop and recommend the following: <br />a. Selection process including RFP questions, submittals, pre bid meetings, pricing <br />schedules, and contract requirements <br />b. Language on quality control, benchmarks, orientation periods, technology requirements <br />of contractor <br />c. Identify a list of possible proposers. <br /> <br />6.
