Include the following requirements in the design of the project <br />a. Provide van and standard accessible parking space with signage <br />and stripping. <br />b. Provide accessible path of travel from public right of way and <br />accessible parking to, new offices, employee work break room, <br />locker room and restrooms. <br />c. Provide accessible clearances for all accessible spaces. <br />d. Provide pedestrian gates for driveway gates, if used. <br />e. If using forklifts, clarify if the will be propane or diesel. <br />f. All exterior walking surfaces shall be ADA compliant. <br />B. All submittals shall include required mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans. <br />No deferred MEP's. <br />C. All revision clouds and deltas added during this Planning Division review must be <br />removed prior to submitting to Building for permit. <br />IV. ALAMEDA COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Review of Planning referrals are usually based on information and plans that lack <br />sufficient information and details for specific comments. The primary focus of our <br />review is to assure fire access to the site. Specific fire and building code issues will <br />be addressed during the regular building permit submittal and review process. <br />B. Building Permits Required (Fire Code plan check). The proposed project shall <br />comply with all Applicable Code and City ordinances, policies and regulations. The <br />applicant shall obtain all necessary building permits prior to construction of the <br />project. Submit a building permit application (for Fire Code plan check) and include <br />the following with your submittal. <br />1. A NFPA 13 Fire Sprinkler Systems is recommended. <br />2. A NFPA 72 Fire Alarm System (Property protection) will be required if a fire <br />protection system is installed. <br />3. A Dust Collection System may be required. If a DCS is required, it shall be per <br />chapter 22 Combustible Dust CFC 2019 edition <br />4.
