File Number: 23-258 <br />·Maintain and enhance San Leandro’s infrastructure. <br />Committee Review and Actions <br />·On July 20, 2022, the Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee reviewed the five <br />applications submitted to the Alameda CTC 2022 CIP. <br />Applicable General Plan Policies <br />·Policy T-3.1: Citywide Bikeway System. Develop and maintain a bikeway system that <br />meets the needs of both utilitarian and recreational users, reduces vehicle trips, and <br />connects residential neighborhoods to employment and shopping areas, BART <br />stations, schools, recreational facilities and other destinations throughout San Leandro <br />and nearby communities. <br />Environmental Review <br />The work to be performed is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality <br />Act according to Public Resources Code §21084 and CEQA Guidelines Article 19, Section <br />15301 “Existing Facilities”. <br />Financial Impacts <br />Alameda CTC allocated $58,000 in grant funding to the City in FY 2023-2024, with a local <br />match of $6,653. <br />This Council action will not impact fund balance because there are funds available in the FY <br />2023-2024 and 2024-2025 adopted budget in Account No. 153-36-601. <br />ATTACHMENT <br />·Attachment A: Resolution-XXX <br />PREPARED BY: Adrian Toscano, Junior Engineer, Engineering and Transportation <br />Department <br />Page 2 City of San Leandro Printed on 6/14/2023
