IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2023- RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH DIXON RESOURCES UNLIMITED FOR PARKING PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SERVICES THROUGH JUNE 30, 2025 FOR A TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF $140,900.00 WHEREAS, on July 17, 2017, the City Council authorized the City Manager to enter into a one-year agreement for $130,000 between the City of San Leandro and Dixon Resources Limited (Dixon), for the oversight of the downtown San Leandro parking system and guided implementation of the City’s new downtown parking management plan; and WHEREAS, July 16, 2018, the agreement with Dixon was subsequently increased by $60,000; and WHEREAS, on September 25, 2019, the City Manager authorized a new agreement for on-call parking management studies for Community Development’s Planning Division in an amount not to exceed an additional $49,000 annually; and WHEREAS, Dixon has provided the City Council and staff with their parking management expertise, making optimal use of our current parking assets and resources; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to continue its relationship with Dixon through June 30, 2025 in an amount not to exceed $140,900.00; and WHEREAS, a corresponding appropriation for this proposed agreement is already incorporated into the Fiscal Year 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 adopted budget; and WHEREAS, Dixon Resources Unlimited has agreed to the terms of the contract pending Council approval; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council does RESOLVE as follows: That said amendments to the agreement are hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
