COMMUNICATION POLICY HIGHLIGHTS <br />Mayor and Councilmember communications: <br />Avoid topic with potential contractors without the Mayor <br />or another Councilmember present. <br />Provide a brief verbal report to the Council on any third- <br />party communication regarding this topic. <br />Policy does not apply to communications on other topics. <br />Mayor and Councilmember to notify City Manager of any <br />potential conflicts of interest. <br />Potential contractors may not distribute materials, or use <br />media, internet, or public space advertising except as relates <br />to their current programs and services. <br />17
