53 <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION/BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENTS <br /> <br />DESCRIPTION OF BOARD AND DUTIES <br />The Commission shall: <br /> <br />a) Hear and recommend to the Council on proposals to adopt, amend or repeal <br />a general plan for the physical development of the City; <br /> <br />b) Exercise such functions with respect to land subdivisions, planning, zoning and <br />future right-of-way lines as are prescribed in Chapters 3, 13 and 16 of Title VII of <br />the San Leandro Municipal Code; <br /> <br />c) Possess the powers and perform the duties prescribed by statute. <br /> <br />MEMBERSHIP <br /> <br />The commission shall consist of seven (7) Members. The Commission is comprised of 1 <br />member representing each district and 1 at-large member . <br />Four (4) Year Term <br /> <br />MEETING SCHEDULE <br />Meets third Thursday of every month; 7:00 p.m., City Hall, Council Chambers <br />
