<br /> <br /> <br />Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and 05/31/2023 <br />DEX Background Investigations for Police Pre-Employment Background Exhibit A – Page 1 of 1 <br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br /> <br /> DEX Background Investigations will provide the following services: <br /> <br /> <br /> Conduct a comprehensive Pre-Employment Background Investigation for the City of San Leandro <br />on candidates who are being considered for sworn and non-sworn positions within the City. <br /> <br /> Conduct the background investigations in a manner that meets and/or exceeds all standards and <br />regulations of the State of California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST),and is in <br />compliance with all Federal and State laws related to such investigations. <br /> <br /> Conduct the background investigations in a manner that meets all of the standards and <br />requirements for employment for the City of San Leandro, California. <br /> <br /> Provide the City of San Leandro with a written report and all supporting documents as required by <br />California POST regulations related to law enforcement pre-employment backgrounds and/or the <br />City of San Leandro personnel regulations. <br /> <br /> The estimated time for project completion is expected to be between 35 to 41 days from initial <br />candidate interview and collection of a Personal History Statement and “Notarized Waiver” <br />authorizing the release of information on the candidate. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: 04957DDE-922F-4540-8ADC-8D9B0E4CF30F
