Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and RRM Design for Memorial Park Improvements Exhibit A – Page 1 of 3 EXHIBIT A SCOPE OF SERVICES This contract is for consulting services to provide Construction Administration. The following scope of services is based on a twelve-month construction duration for Memorial Park Improvements Project for the services requested of RRM Design Group (CONSULTANT) and subconsultant, including electrical engineering services. SCOPE OF SERVICES Task 1: Pre-Construction Meeting and Conformed Drawings CONSULTANT’s Project Manager shall attend one pre-construction meeting onsite with the City and selected contractor. In preparation for this meeting, CONSULTANT shall prepare and coordinate the production of conformed drawings and specifications. Deliverables: • Conformed drawings and specifications • Pre-construction meeting agenda and minutes Task 2: Construction Administration CONSULTANT shall support the City during the construction phase of the project. The duration of the project is assumed to be twelve months. Consultant shall review and respond to requests for information (RFI), change orders (CO), submittals, and contractor supplied shop drawings. Under this task, CONSULTANT shall also prepare and issue supplemental instructions as necessary to clarify technical details. Due to the unknown nature of the level of effort that will be required for this task, it is assumed that this task will take up to 250 hours of consultant’s time. Deliverables: • Response to RFI, CO, submittals, shop drawings and supplemental instructions within 10 working days of receipt. Task 3: Construction Meetings and Observation CONSULTANT’s project manager and/or designated representative will prepare for and attend up to 40 construction meetings at the park site. It is anticipated that in addition to consultant’s project manager attending the meetings, consultant’s civil engineer will attend up to six site meetings, and electrical engineer will attend up to two site meetings. The purpose of these meetings is to generally coordinate with the City and contractor and to address issues that are topical. While in attendance at these construction meetings, CONSULTANT shall conduct field observations.
