Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and RRM Design for Memorial Park Improvements Exhibit A – Page 2 of 3 familiar with the work in progress and to determine, in general, if the work is proceeding in accordance with the contract documents. CONSULTANT shall not supervise, direct, or have control over the contractor’s work nor have any responsibility for the construction means, methods, techniques, sequences, or procedures selected by the contractor, nor for the contractor’s safety precautions or programs in connection with the work. These rights and responsibilities are solely those of the contractor in accordance with the contract documents. CONSULTANT shall not be responsible for any acts or omissions of the contractor, subcontractor, any entity performing any portion of the work, or any agents or employees of any of them. CONSULTANT shall not be responsible for the contractor’s failure to perform work in accordance with the contract documents or any applicable laws, codes, rules, or regulations. Deliverables: • Meeting minutes and site observation notes related to design technical aspects only. Task 4: Project Close-Out The CONSULTANT shall attend two punch list item walks with the contractor and the City - preliminary and final; and prepare a memorandum of punch list items for the contractor to address. Consultant shall also conduct any other close-out activities that are required for project completion.. Deliverables: • Two (2) punch list memorandum • Close-out activities required for project completion Task 5: Record Drawings Upon completion of construction work, CONSULTANT shall compile an electronic (pdf format) reproducible set of record drawings based on contractor’s mark-up, record drawings, addenda, change orders, and other data furnished by the contractor.
